Sybrig Dokter is a dancer and dance maker from the Netherlands living in Sweden.  Sybrig works with instant-composition techniques in the creative process as well as during performance in various contexts. She creates dance pieces with dancers, actors and other performers and collaborates in works of other artists.

Sybrig uses various methods but likes to bring process and research into choreographic structures and noticing and reading the subtle adjustments body and mind make while engaging in the production of making choices during the evolving of a work.

Her performing and teaching has taken her amongst others to the Baltic countries, Moldova, Bulgaria,Russia, Scandinavia and Great Britain. With Benno Voorham she founded LAVA-Dansproduktion in 1997. Sybrig is a certified Alexander technique teacher since 1993.
